MEDINA, Ohio – When Hemingway’s Underground opens next month, one thing is for sure: In addition to a well-thought-out cocktail list, a very diverse menu and a comfortable vibe for dinner or drinks, it will be the only restaurant that has a goatalope.

The lifesize “goatalope” was a contribution from architect Matt Strehle, whose office is across the street. Through his design work for Hemingway’s founding partner Zane Charnas and managing partner Courtney Hunter, Strehle became a friend and with his wife Melanie invested in Hemingway’s and are considered “collaborators and community ambassadors.”
