Connecticut company is laying off dozens of people in Pa. due to loss of contract

Dozens of people who report to a facility in Lycoming County will likely be laid off.

ACC Premiere, a Connecticut-based company that provides contact center services, filed a WARN notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry informing the state that potentially 67 employees working at or reporting into a facility at 948 Plaza Drive in Montoursville will be laid off.

The company said the potential layoffs are due to the loss of a client contract.

The layoffs are expected to occur on September 19. The company said in the WARN notice that it is “seeking to offer other job opportunities to many of the employees as they come up.”
