Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles threw his bat at a pitcher on Sunday while playing in a rehab game with the Tacoma Rainiers.

During the third inning of Sunday’s game, Las Vegas Aviators pitcher Joey Estes threw a pitch up-and-in to Robles. The pitch hit Robles on the shoulder, but he swung, making it a strike.

Afterwards, Victor Robles immediately picked up his bat and threw it at the pitcher. You can check out the video here . Thankfully, the bat did not hit Estes.

Robles was ejected from the game by the home plate umpire, but he tried to make his way towards Estes before leaving the field.

The home plate umpire was able to slow him down, until both benches cleared and de-escalated the situation. Eventually, Robles left the field, but he did throw an entire bucket of sunfl
