A pony famous for his love of a daily pint of Guinness has gone tee-total with tourists despite near constant offers of the black stuff. Visitors flock to see Patrick the Pony in his home village of Cockington, Devon, after he previously hit the headlines over his regular trips to the pub and love of the Irish stout. ‌

Owner Kirk Petrakis, 47, took him to their local pub to socialise him for his work as a therapy horse. But Kirk said although he still allows Patrick to indulge in a 'good sip' of Guinness, he has had to cut down his consumption. ‌
