The Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro will hold its annual Men Can Cook fundraiser from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Greensboro Coliseum’s Piedmont Hall.

The event features more than 50 “chefs” (amateur cooks around town) serving some of their signature dishes. Guests can graze from any or all tables.

The event also includes a curated tasting of small-batch, hand-crafted wines, beers, ciders, meads and distilled spirits from area producers, including Steel Hands Brewing, Junius Lindsay Vineyard, Stardust Cellars, Bull City Ciderworks, Fainting Goat Spirits and more.

There also will be live music as well as gift baskets available for purchase.

The center held its first Men Who Cook in 2001. The event raises money for the center, which provides help for more than 7,500
