DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) An Ohio woman faces multiple charges after Indiana State Police arrested her early Sunday morning after she was spotted driving the wrong way on I-74 west of Cincinnati.
According to a press release from Indiana State Police, trooper received reports of a Toyota Camry going west in the eastbound lanes of the interstate just after 1:00 a.m. One of the troopers was able to maneuver his squad car in front of the Camry, however the driver, identified as Erin Dowers, 35, of Cincinnati, tried to avoid hitting the troopers car by going into the median. The two cars collided and Dowers continued driving before another trooper managed to get her to stop.
Troopers determined that Dowers showed signs of intoxication. She was arrested an taken to the Dearborn County Jail
