Warning to 600,000 passengers over major UK airport disruption

Up to 600,000 passengers could be affected by Gatwick Airport baggage screeners strike across August Bank Holiday weekend, according to travel experts. Baggage screeners working at Gatwick Airport will take industrial action over the August Bank Holiday weekend, from August 22 to August 26, and from August 29 to September 2, leaving thousands of travellers facing disruptions.

The airlines scheduled to have the most flights in and out of Gatwick over that weekend include easyJet, British Airways, Vueling, TUI Airways, and Wizz Air.
