The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported the apprehension of citizen Yelitza Medina for posing as an official of the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (Saren) in the state of Zulia.
Through his social media accounts, Saab stated that this person was requesting large sums of money to complete and expedite procedures before the state entity, thereby obtaining a financial benefit.
The woman will be charged with the crimes of Unlawful Use of Administrative Acts, Forgery of Public Documents, and Usurpation of Functions.
