Derby's annual Folk Festival is set to make its return to the city in autumn, bringing with it world-class folk music and dance. Between Friday, October 10, and Sunday, October 12, venues and streets in the Cathedral Quarter will host concerts, dances, workshops and crafts.
Whilst some events will be ticketed, others are provided for free to allow everyone to experience the festival. Ticketed concerts will begin on Friday evening in Chapel Street Arts Centre with an evening of Ukrainian music and dance from Hoverla.
The festival continues at Derby Museum in the Wardwick and The Old Bell Hotel, which will also host the festival's main concerts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Artists include the trio Granny's Attic, world-class fiddle-playing vocalists Sawol, award-winning musicians K
