It's officially high school football season. Week 1 is underway, with the first games of the 2025 NCHSAA season on Aug. 22.

Before kickoff in Western North Carolina, there is one more poll to decide. Who will be the All-WNC Player of the Year in 2025? You get to decide. The Citizen Times and Times-News picked some of the top players in WNC from the All-WNC preseason team . Vote for your choice of the best player in WNC.
