NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio -- Due to a “double whammy,” North Olmsted Community Council had to pivot for this year’s annual Homecoming event.
“This is the first time it’s only one day,” North Olmsted Community Council President Ken Neuzil said of the Aug. 23 celebration.
“That’s because we couldn’t get a ride company, so it would be hard to sustain it for four days, and Community Park is out of commission due to construction.”
So the North Olmsted Community Council decided to take a unique approach for the 2025 Homecoming.
The event also includes a Taste of North Olmsted component and car show -- both from 2 to 4 p.m. -- followed by a parade stepping off at 4 p.m. from North Olmsted High School.
