LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- The 48th annual Lakewood Arts Festival took place Aug. 2 on Detroit Avenue.
The fun affair included more than 150 vendors from artists nationwide, as well as activities, live music and snacks.
Artists and residents once again came together to celebrate art on the closed thoroughfare between Arthur and Belle avenues.
“People love the Lakewood Arts Fest because they know they will find a diverse selection of art each year,” Lakewood Arts Festival Board Chair Karolyn Isenhart said.
“The jury process sets us apart and the artist election is the key to presenting a show balanced between fine art, decorative art and jewelry with something in all price ranges for everyone.”
She added that four stages of live music created energy on the street with attendance estimated to ha
