CHICAGO — As the Buffalo Bills head into the final week of the preseason, and with roster cuts looming Aug. 26, Sean McDermott is not pleased with where his team is in its readiness for a season that is overwhelmed by expectation.

The Bills were dreadful in a 38-0 loss to the Chicago Bears , and while much of that can be attributed to McDermott playing almost no starters, and obviously not game-planning, there were enough sloppy and unimpressive performances to get the coach’s blood pressure bubbling.

“A lot of work to get done this week as we move forward here,” McDermott said. “I thought we had some momentum coming off that (joint) practice, which I thought was a good practice for us. Tonight, however, not even close. I’m concerned about a lot of things. Gotta look at the film and
