LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Saturday starts early for one group trying to make a difference in the lives of the homeless living in the valley.

“We meet around 8-8:15 every Saturday morning,” Kara Dugan said.

“Hand out care packs and offer kind words to our unhoused neighbors.”

It’s a routine Henderson Angels has settled into over the last couple of years.

The nonprofit began with an objective of helping 1000 homeless people get proper care.

“We’re out here giving care packages, giving lifesaving Narcan as well as medical attention with the goal of building trust for these individuals when they’re ready to come into treatment,” Henderson Angels president Cara Kline said.

The Angels travel to designated spots in Henderson to connect with any and everyone who needs help.
