A man was found "unresponsive" at his home after choking on food, a court has heard.
Ahmed Hassan, 38, was at his address when a friend discovered him and called the emergency services.
Sadly there was nothing that could be done to save Mr Hassan, and he was pronounced dead at his home on Lathbury Road in Monsall on March 1, 2025.
An inquest today opened at Manchester Coroners' Court into the death of Mr Hassan.

The court heard he was born in Somalia on April 24 1986, was single and worked as an IT consultant.
Opening the inquest, Area Coroner Paul Appleton told the court: "On March 1 2025 Ahmed was found unresponsive at his home address by a friend.
