MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison Police Department is investigating after a person reported being shot in the leg Sunday afternoon on the city’s south side.
The victim called 911 just after 4:20 p.m. and told officials he had been shot, according to an MPD incident report.
Officers arrived to the 2200 block of Allied Drive, found the victim with a gunshot wound to his leg and started providing first aid.
Officials took him to a hospital, and he is expected to be OK. He has since been released from the hospital, MPD said.
MPD’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
