A new nature documentary series, complete with a horror twist that Blumhouse is known for through their TV and movie output, is set to arrive on Netflix globally on September 30th, 2025.

First unveiled in July 2023 (albeit without Netflix attached at the time) with production wrapping up just recently, the docu-series is now ready for release. Across multiple episodes, the series showcases animal heroes struggling to endure the real-life terrors of the natural world. It reimagines natural history filmmaking through a horror lens, where trees bleed, zombie snails crawl, and vampire fish rule the waters. Among the creatures we’ll see in these episodes are a little frog, a baby crocodile, snakes, raccoons, and mice.
