The first wave of performers has been announced for the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards !

Alex Warren , Busta Rhymes , J Balvin with DJ Snake , Ricky Martin , Sabrina Carpenter and breakout star sombr will all be hitting the stage at this year’s show.

The 2025 MTV VMAs will air live on Sunday, September 7, hosted by LL Cool J from UBS Arena in New York.

Busta will also be honored with the very first Rock the Bells Visionary Award, recognizing his boundary-pushing career that spans over two decades and more than 60 million certified records. Ricky is set to make history as the inaugural recipient of the Latin Icon Award, marking 26 years since his groundbreaking 1999 VMAs performance.
