What to know about the Trump-Zelenskyy meeting at the White House today

President Trump hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders at the White House on Monday to discuss the path forward on a possible resolution to the war in Ukraine.

The leaders presented a united front, with Zelenskyy and European allies stressing the need for security guarantees in any peace deal to deter Russia from invading in the future. Mr. Trump said any guarantees would involve the U.S. in some form.

In the Oval Office, Zelenskyy received a much warmer welcome than he did in February, when his meeting with Mr. Trump devolved into shouting.
