The New York Transit Museum and MTA New York City Transit will host the 2025 Bus Festival on Sunday, Sept. 21, at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Step inside historic buses to trace the evolution of New York City’s fleet by taking part in interactive activities for all ages while connecting with the people who keep the city moving. You can also capture stunning photos of vintage vehicles framed by the Manhattan skyline.

The event showcases vintage buses from the city’s fleet while giving visitors a chance to learn about New York’s transit history up close.

The free, rain-or-shine event will run from 10:00am to 3:30pm and will feature historic buses from the museum’s collection, hands-on activities and a pop-up Transit Museum store.
