The Kansas City Royals hosted the Chicago White Sox this past weekend, claiming all three games for a clean sweep over the division rival. The team is currently four games behind the New York Yankees for the final spot in the MLB Wildcard standings. The Detroit Tigers are likely to coast to the playoffs with a hefty ten-game lead over the rest of the AL Central division. As August comes to an end and September rolls around, sweeps, especially over division rivals, will be key for the team to dance in October. The team faces off against the Texas Rangers tonight at 6:40 p.m.
