Popular Japanese fashion brand to open first Bristol store

A Japanese fashion brand is opening up its first Bristol store at Cabot Circus , according to a planning application which has been submitted to Bristol City Council. Uniqlo, which specialises in casual and comfortable women's, men's and kid's clothing, has asked for permission to install illuminated signage in the former Topshop on Brigstowe Street.

According to the Uniqlo website's official store locator, this Bristol store will not only be the first in the city, but the only one in the South West of England.

In the plans, which can be viewed publicly on the Council's Planning Portal, diagrams show the Uniqlo signage with its red and white branding clearly visible. It will be located at Unit 25 - in what was previously B
