CECIL COUNTY, Md. — A three-vehicle crash shut down Interstate-95 in Cecil County for several hours on Monday morning, leaving four adults and two children injured.
According to Maryland State Police, a three-vehicle crash happened at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, right before exit 100 at MD-272. Police said that after preliminary investigations, they determined that a Jaguar car was disabled in the left lane. For unknown reasons, a Ford F-350 struck the Jaguar, and the Ford was struck by a Toyota Tacoma that towed a boat.
One child was flown to a local hospital, while the other five victims (four adults and another child) were taken by ambulance. The interstate was reopened to traffic around 9:45 a.m.
This case is currently under investigation.
