CARLOCK, Ill. – A portion of westbound Interstate 74 is shut down for the day due to emergency road repairs.
Illinois State Police says the affected area is between mileposts 120 and 125 near Carlock in McLean County.
Traffic is being diverted off at milepost 125 onto Route 150 to Carlock, where motorists can get back on I-74.
ISP says the closure is expected to last all day.
