MT. VERNON, Ky. (WKYT) - One person is dead after a mobile home caught fire in Mt. Vernon.

Rockcastle County Emergency Management tells WKYT that the fire happened on Davis Street in Mt. Vernon on Monday morning.

That’s behind Ace Hardware and Dollar General off US 150.

Officials haven’t said what caused the fire.

WKYT has a crew headed to the scene.
