HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A shooting broke out early Monday morning in the parking lot of a California Closets store in Huntington Beach, leaving one man injured.
It happened just after 7 a.m. near the intersection of Springdale Street and Skylab Road.
Details are limited, but according to Huntington Beach Police Department spokesperson Corbin Carson, the man was rushed to the hospital in an unknown condition.
It's unclear what sparked the shooting or who exactly was involved. A witness who spoke with Eyewitness News Monday morning said they heard at least six gunshots.
"Detectives believe this is an isolated incident, and there's no further threat to public safety," said Carson.
