Notting Hill Carnival is set to take over the streets of London this weekend in a colourful celebration of Caribbean culture. Each year over a million people head to West London to take part in parades, listen to music and eat delicious food.

But with so many people celebrating, travel is always extremely busy on Carnival weekend. Transport for London has issued important travel advice ahead of the weekend to keep everyone’s journeys as smooth as possible.

Carnival-goers have been advised to travel to Paddington Station on the Elizabeth line, following walking signs straight to Carnival. It has also reminded those celebrating that there will be no night Tube running on either Sunday, August 24 or Monday, August 25.
