A native of Hamilton, Ont., DeZoete only suited up in 42 games for the Hounds over the past two seasons, recording four goals and 15 points. With the team carrying four overagers to start last season, DeZoete was released in November 2024. Article content Article content

He finished the year with the OJHL’s Milton Menace, where he racked up 11 goals and 43 points in 26 games.

The 6-foot-2 winger was picked up by the Hounds in January 2024 from the Guelph Storm for a tenth-round pick in the 2025 OHL draft, which Guelph used to draft defenceman Malcolm Robin.
