Taiwanfest 2025 gets into full swing across Vancouver this month.

The Rally For Taiwan: Music in the Soundscape of Democracy, taking place on Aug. 30 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (North of the Vancouver Art Gallery), is certainly a highlight. This year’s lineup includes a trio of performers drawn from the diverse linguistic and cultural communities of the country.
