GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A state lawmaker spoke out about sex crimes in Nebraska during last weeks Hall County Board meeting.

State Senator Loren Lippincott from District 34, along with representatives from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office and the Grand Island Police Dept. addressed the need for harsh punishment for sex crimes, loopholes in the current state laws on sex offenders and the need to work with other states to tighten state laws.

During State Senator Loren Lippincott’s speech to County Board members, he spoke about some shocking numbers from the Nebraska State Patrol on what sex crimes look like in the State.
