Free 30-day bus passes available for Merrillville seniors

Thanks to a grant from the Legacy Foundation, Merrillville residents 65 and older as well as individuals with disabilities can obtain a free 30-day Gary Public Transportation Corporation bus pass by visiting the Town Administration Office at Merrillville Town Hall, 7820 Broadway. Individuals will need to provide proof of age and residency to enroll. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 50 distributed each month.
