EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — Motion hearings continued Monday in the case of Elwyn Crocker Sr., the man accused of the abuse and murder of two teens in Effingham County.
It's one of Georgia’s most haunting child abuse cases. Crocker Sr. is charged in the deaths of his two teenage children: Mary and Elwyn Jr. Their bodies were discovered in December of 2018, buried behind the family’s Guyton home.
According to investigators, Elwyn Jr. was killed on or around Nov. 30, 2016, two years before the bodies were found buried behind their home.
Elwyn Sr. is facing multiple charges, including malice murder, child cruelty and concealing a death. He, and two others, could also face the death penalty if convicted.
