Beware of fake Labubu plush dolls.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued an urgent warning Monday about the toys sometimes referred to as “Lafufus,” which pose "a serious risk of choking and death to young children."

The fakes are sold as plush figures and keychains, just small enough for a child to fit the doll in their mouth. CPSC received reports of fake Labubus breaking apart easily and releasing small pieces that can become choking hazards.
Consumers are being warned to not buy the knockoff products, or dispose of them if they have already purchased them.
