The Washington Commanders have reportedly been shopping former third-round pick RB Brian Robinson Jr. around for a trade. He’s entering the final year of his contract and Washington is looking to try to get something for him, instead of possibly releasing him outright. The Commanders would save $3.4 million with a trade/cut, and aren’t likely to get much, if anything, in return. Jacory “Bill” Croskey-Merritt was drafted in the 7th round this year, and has quickly impressed the coaching staff. Washington also has Austin Ekeler, Jeremy McNichols, and Chris Rodriguez Jr returning from last season.
