SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) -- After 16 games with the Syracuse Mets at the Triple-A level, Nolan McLean got his start for the New York Mets on Saturday, August 16th. One of the Mets' top pitching prospects, McLean had a 2.45 ERA in the minors during the 2025 season and shined on the mound during his time in Syracuse. In his MLB debut, McLean struck out eight batters in five and one-third scoreless innings, only letting up two hits and four walks.
