STATEN ISLAND, N.Y — The Metropolitan Transportation Authority will be hosting a series of public hearings this week, giving NYC residents the chance to make their voices heard on a pending fare and toll increase.
The hearings will be held at the New York City Transit Authority building located at 130 Livingston Street, 1st Floor, in Brooklyn, starting on Tuesday, Aug. 19.
Besides attending in person, those interested can view a livestream of the meetings on the MTA’s social media pages .
The meeting schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, Aug. 19: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 20: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 20: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
