In the Booth with Ron Beattie, Democratic candidate for mayor of Frederick

Ron Beattie, running for mayor in Frederick's approaching primary election, spoke in a podcast with The Frederick News-Post against fees developers are allowed to pay rather than meet city infrastructure requirements.

Beattie is running against incumbent two-term Mayor Michael O'Connor in the primary election on Sept. 9. Both are Democrats. The winner will face off against Republican challenger Tom Trott.
