An order warning residents not to consume tap water from the city’s water system is now lifted in all parts of Butte, though a health advisory remains for the elderly, infants and those with severely compromised immune systems.
People from one section of east Butte who fall into those categories are asked to consult with their health care providers before drinking city water, pending more tests of that water.
