The search for a missing nonverbal 12-year-old boy has entered its fourth day.

Police say Bryan Vasquez was discovered missing from his home on Beaucaire Street on Thursday morning.

Louisiana State Police issued a Level II endangered/missing child advisory on Friday, Aug. 15, launching a search for the boy.

Police said that while the number of active field resources will be scaled down, officers will continue neighborhood canvassing and follow up on investigative leads.
