Angel Reese has made a bold statement about her Reebok signature shoe that should have Nike execs scratching their heads.

The Chicago Sky forward landed a deal with the sportswear company, which has made a comeback recently and even has a Netflix series.

Reese has close ties to Shaquille O’Neal and was bizarrely shown playing on the same team as the former NBA center. Given that he’s the President of Basketball at Reebok, we imagine it wasn’t hard for them to make a deal.

The former LSU star has declared that people will wear her shoes everywhere, suggesting that they will be as popular as Jordans.

The unisex sneaker, the Angel Reese 1, will launch in exactly a month’s time on September 18, and Reese reckons the old-school look will command a significant share of the market.
