‘Very Fair’: Trump Offers Rare Praise For the Press During Meeting With European Leaders

President Donald Trump offered rare praise for the media at the conclusion of his meeting with European Leaders in the White House.

Days after his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin , Trump on Monday met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for continued talks about bringing an end to the war. Once his meeting with Zelensky ended, Trump gathered with numerous other European leaders in a different part of the White House.

As Trump concluded the larger meeting, he felt compelled to praise the press in attendance for what he considered to be “fair coverage” of the day’s events:
