After four years of transforming the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, the president and CEO will be stepping down soon, according to an organization news release.

Chamber President and CEO Kay McDowell led the organization's rebrand, helped ease the membership and event processes and saw the opening of The Chamber Co Lab. The lab is a 9,000-foot space for members to collaborate, innovate and make connections at 1500 Broadway, Suite 101 .

On Monday, the Board of Directors announced that McDowell will step down by the end of the year.
