CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot and killed near a Clayton County intersection on Sunday afternoon.

Clayton County Police said officers responded to Georgia 42 and East Conley Road in Conley around 4 p.m. Sunday in reference to a person shot. When officers arrived, they found a man dead at the scene.

On Wednesday morning, police identified the victim as 42-year-old Lee Antonio Williams.

"He was killed as a result of an ongoing domestic situation," the Clayton County Police Department said. "The case is still ongoing and nothing further can be released at this time."
