Not enjoying every stressful, exhausting, repetitive, challenging moment of your kids’ lives? It may be because you haven’t reached the ‘window of enjoyment’ yet — or you already passed it. One mom went viral for her take on the most enjoyable years of parenting, and it’s a bittersweet reminder to savor everything before it’s gone in a blink of an eye.

“There’s one window of enjoyment with kids,” mom Nicole Collings (@nicoleisthisme) said on TikTok, per Newsweek. This sweet spot is between the ages of 5 and 11.

“The baby stage? Hard — cute, but hard,” she said in the video. “Once they get on the move — impossible. Especially when you’ve got more than one,” Collings, who had three babies under age 2 who are now ages 13 and 15, added.
