BAR HARBOR -- The College of the Atlantic has been recognized nationally for its inclusiveness and environmental conservation efforts.

The coastal Maine college has been ranked the number one LGBTQ friendly and number one green minded college in the 2026 edition of the Princeton Review's Best 391 Colleges.

The college also ranks in the top 20 nationally across categories from most active student government to best campus food.

According to the college's president, Sylvia Torti, this reflects their long-standing commitment to an inclusive and supportive community as well as its innovative approach to education.
