LEXINGTON, Ky. — President Donald Trump is looking to possibly change the way states run elections by ending mail-in ballots and voting machines through executive order.

President Trump said he will “lead” the movement to eliminate mail-in ballots and voting machines in state elections. During a visit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Trump told reporters the executive order is being drafted.

“Mail-in ballots are corrupt,” Trump said. “You can never have a real democracy with mail-in ballots.”

Trump posted to Truth Social saying he will sign an executive order ending the practice of mail-in ballots and voting machines in states that use them. Trump claimed voting machines are “highly inaccurate” and are “very expensive.” He also said, “All other countries gave up on mail
