Monroe Township, NJ – A 38-year-old man has died and two others were hospitalized after a Hyundai Santa Fe crossed into oncoming traffic and caused a fatal multi-vehicle crash late Sunday night on County Route 655 (Fries Mill Road), police said.

The crash happened around 10:04 p.m. on August 9, near milepost 5.85 between Stanger Avenue and Arlington Drive. Investigators say the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, traveling southbound, veered across the double yellow line into the northbound lane. The Hyundai struck a 2005 Toyota RAV4, causing the SUV to spin before coming to rest on the southbound shoulder about 100 feet from impact.

The Hyundai then continued south in the northbound lane and collided head-on with a 2005 Ford F-150.
