WCTVWAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - A man is behind bars in connection with a Sunday morning shooting that left one dead, according to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office.
Shayne Sheffield, 31, was arrested for second-degree murder Sunday evening, per WCSO.
Deputies say the incident unfolded at about 11 a.m. at Bettywood Circle, when law enforcement received a call about a “shooting incident at a residence in Wakulla County.”
After arriving at the property, they found a victim, later identified as Nicholas Draughon, dead near a camper where he lived with his girlfriend, according to law enforcement.
