KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah’s third season in the National Football League is over before it started.
On Monday, head coach Andy Reid told reporters the former K-State Wildcat, whom Kansas City selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, was likely to go on injured reserve due to a hamstring strain.
Monday afternoon, the Chiefs announced that Anudike-Uzomah was placed on injured reserve, ending his season.
Players who are placed on injured reserve prior to the 53-man roster cutdown are ruled out for the season.
