Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez denounced this Monday the presence of U.S. naval and air forces in the southern Caribbean.

Through his account on the social network X, the chancellor indicated that these activities are carried out under "false pretexts" and respond to a "corrupt agenda" of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

In his statement, the Cuban Foreign Minister insisted that Latin America and the Caribbean must be respected as a Zone of Peace and rejected any action that compromises the sovereignty of the region's countries.
